Located in the foothills of the Atlas mountains, the name Amelkis comes from the queen of a Berber tribe. Designed by Cabell B. Robinson, it was opened in 1995. With the Atlas mountains as a back-drop, it is a very popular and spectacular course.

This course was one of the favorites of His Majesty King Hassan II. The course has been recently extended to 27 holes.
