We often think we know our country. However, Morocco is capable of giving you many surprises. And whatever happens, you will enjoy the greatest welcome and the easiest solutions for rediscovering it.
A journey to your roots
Visiting your own country is a way of cultivating your identity. We are eager to show you the land of your ancestors. The Kingdom is vast and varied, so enjoy your vacation and embark on a journey of discovery. Whether alone or with your family, explore its many facets without reserve. Each of them is a part of your personality.
Out-of-season charm
Through our partners' many offers, liberate yourself from the summer periods and rediscover your country's many faces throughout the year. The low season will be all yours, with the appeal of sites deserted by the crowds. Re-appropriate your country whenever you want. We promise to do all we can to satisfy your curiosity at any time of the year.
To remember
Morocco is currently building accommodation structures suitable for Moroccan families, so that you can rediscover your country without any stress and under the best conditions.
Show off your country to your children and your family. On the beaches or in the mountains, take advantage of Morocco's incredible diversity.
Time out
Take advantage of your vacation to allow yourself some time out to relax. On the coast, in Asilah for example, share the long white-sand beaches with your family. Then initiate them into the region's epic history during a walk along the splendid maritime ramparts.
In the cool
The heat is sometimes uncomfortable for children. So enjoy the coolness and exquisite climate which reigns in summer in towns such as Ifrane, located at an altitude of 1650m. There is nothing like a picnic at the Vittel spring and the waterfalls to forget the blistering heat of summer. Further south, 17km away, Azrou (1250m), a charming Berber town, is the ideal starting point for a family trip to explore the cedar forest, the oldest tree of which has a circumference of 10m around the base.
Family sports
A little sea-kayaking trip is always a real adventure for children. Become the captain of your family for the duration of the trip out. In Essaouira, everything has been planned so that you can initiate yourself as a family into seaside sports, in complete safety, under the watchful eye of experienced lifeguards. But you are free to choose complete relaxation and sunbathing while the children splash about in the waves inAgadir or Saidia.
To remember
Morocco is the ultimate family destination. Sunny beaches bordered by majestic ramparts or a soothing picnic in the mountains – the choice is almost too great!
Even outside of the summer tourist season, Morocco retains all its charm! This is an opportunity to discover the country in another light…
Family skiing
Moroccan ski resorts are a curiosity not to be missed. In Oukaïmeden, just near Marrakech, hurtle down the powdered-snow slopes with your children. They probably didn't know you could build a snowman in Morocco!
Out-of-season sunshine
If you miss the sunshine too much, plan a jaunt to the south, towards Dakhla for instance. The Atlantic water there is at 25 degrees centigrade all year round. This will extend the summer in all seasons, while introducing the family to snow sports which have made the destination internationally famous.
Cozy comfort
In the heart of a riad in Marrakech, for example, sample the wonderful atmosphere of a comfortable home protected from the noises of the city. Then set off as a family into the picturesque streets and let conversations start naturally. Here, a craftsman will explain his trade to the children; over there a baker will be happy to let you taste his honey cakes…
Vacations and culture
Outside the summer, the monuments and museums are much quieter. This is the time to visit the Kingdom's splendors with your children, and explain to them the glorious history which has shaped the country of their origins. A trip to the Ben-Youssef medersa in Marrakech, or to the Fez medina is worth any number of erudite lectures!
To remember
It is outside of the great summer migrations that the everyday Morocco reveals itself. So take advantage of the low seasons and winter to come!
